I'm not in until tomorrow, but I called the Stand to get a brief report at 6 pm.
We have two stands this year, Curteis Creates aimed at bringing in manufacturing work from jewellery designers, and the other showing our retailer range, with the attendant new marketing ideas.
Lockets are doing very well, is the first thing I heard. The newer family lockets seem to have kicked lockets into our customers' minds more strongly. We've been making them for ten years, and at last, they are 'kicking'.
The new Packages are doing very well. One customer wants a silver cross attached to chains package designing which we are now preparing.
The new Instore campaign was commented on by a Houlden group member who can see the immense potential it gives a retailer to show a hugely greater range than was possible before. People are also taking away the new catalogue and very impressed with it - just as we are!
I will find out more in the morning. Craig on the Curteis Creates Stand was very pleased with a series of new enquiries for manufacturing work from jewellery designers. It's the first time he's taken a separate stand and it seems to be paying off.
